Open House Success at The Digital Arts Experience in White Plains

Last Saturday, May 4th marked the first Summer Camp Open House at The Digital Arts Experience (The DAE). The event lasted from 12PM-3PM and was a great way to showcase its space. Visitors were greeted at the front door by staff members, and were promptly given a tour of the 8,000 sq. ft. facility in downtown White Plains.

Within the facility, The DAE has a professional recording studio, a fully equipped photography/video studio, 4 computer labs complete with 21″ iMac computers with all of the latest, pro software including Final Cut Pro 7, Final Cut Pro X, Aperture, Adobe Photoshop, and the entire Adobe CS6 Suite. Attendees of the Open House were given interactive tours – animation instructor Nicholas Sceusa conducted a live demonstration of his 3D Character Modeling class using Blender.

The Digital Arts Experience strives to provide a well rounded experience for kids and teens who are looking to learn relevant, real-world tasks this summer in Westchester County. Our programs give them the opportunity to grow in either ANIMATION, GRAPHIC DESIGN, MOVIEMAKING, PHOTOGRAPHY and/or WEB DESIGN. Each class is extremely hands-on and small with a maximum of 6 students in each program and designed to end with completed work. Kids and teens will leave with real-world projects, material for portfolio, work to show for college applications, and more.
