Evernote has added some extraordinarily powerful features to its Web Clipper! Firstly, if you are a Gmail user, clicking the Web Clipper icon with an email open will clip only that email and not the entire email window. Clicking the icon in any other scenario will automatically screenshot what you are looking at. The coolest new features allow you to edit and annotate that screenshot!

For example, if there is someone’s name or personal information included in an email that you are clipping, you can use a pixelate tool to blur out that info. There are a number of annotation tools that allow you to highlight sections of the clipping and add comments as well. Best of all, using the new, simple Web Clipper tool bar, you can easily select which notebook you want your clipping to go into and add any necessary tags.
