The Digital Arts Experience of Westchester County hosted an Open House on Tuesday, February 10th at their White Plains location for Summer Tech Camps, February Break Boot Camp and After School classes in 3D Printing, Animation, Coding, Electronics, Game Design, Graphic Design, and more!
The Open House ran from 4-7PM and Instructors had the opportunity to showcase past student work and talk about what makes their classes educational, but fun.
Now enrolling for 2015 Summer Tech Camps. 3D Animation, 3D Printing, Coding, Graphic Design and more! Similar to the February Break boot camp, students have the option to do a full day or half day in their topic of interest. New classes include Intro to Electronics w/ Arduino, Digital Photography and 3D Printing with Minecraft!
President Rob Kissner will be teaching the new “Intro to Electronics with Arduino” class at The DAE!
Arduino is an electronics platform that combines programming with physical objects to create all kinds of DIY projects. From talking clocks to robots, Arduino is practically limitless in what it can be used for. This class will focus on developing a solid understanding of basic electronics as well as developing a level of fluency with the Arduino programming language. Arduino kits will be provided to each student for each class, but students are welcome to purchase their kits and bring them to class each day. Students can expect to finish at least two Arduino projects by the completion of this class.
